Meet the RCO team - Kate Siebert

Specialty: Public value in complex and wicked situations. This means it I lean into today’s challenges, and help to design for tomorrow. I love to build courageous organisations, teams and resilient systems. I have managed my fair share of crises in the past 15 years and appreciate how important it is to have nous, foresight, humility and compassion.

Experience: I have lots of experience in local government, state government and the non-profit space. I’m currently the Interim Director Community Engagement at the fabulous Murrindindi Shire Council in Victoria’s north east. I am really proud to walk beside the ResilientCo team as part of my role at Samphire Consulting.

Favourite music era: My music taste is eclectic and progressive. I don’t have a genre, nor an era. I did recently welcome The Sugarhill Gang back (after a long hiatus) to my high rotation playlist. It’s still fresh and I love the funk.

How do you wind down after a busy day? I get outdoors, for a walk, a swim, a kayak or a hike. Nature helps me to learn, process, restore and recalibrate.

What do you like most about working with ResilientCo: I choose to partner with ResilientCo because our values are aligned. I am lucky enough to join up with the brightest minds to help design a future we are ready for.

Note: Kate Siebert works in her own consulting business and is one of the collaborators ResilientCo can call on in our extensive network.
